Class 344 Songs of the Week
Every week, part of your nightly homework is to practice the song of the week and memorize the song by Friday. Each week I'll post an audio or video file of the song here so you can watch it and practice at home. I'll also post some songs that aren't "songs of the week" but that we sang/listened to in class. Happy singing!

November 3-7: Yakko's New World Song by the Animaniacs
This is from a cartoon television program that aired in 1993. Several of the countries have changed since then, so the original song is no longer very useful, except for the tune. Please do NOT practice the words in this video, since it won't match the version we're singing in class. Click here to download a copy of the lyrics we are using. You don't need to memorize the song this week. You only need to be able to sing all of the countries smoothly enough to keep the tune and rhythym - this is quite the challenge. Good luck!
Updated Version:
"Tour the World" Music Video
This is an awesome modern song that covers all of the countries in the world! It's a bit too long to make it as a song of the week, but I thought you'd enjoy watching it. (Do you think you could learn part of it? It's a cool way to memorize the countries!)
