We read "How Many Seeds In a Pumpkin."

Here are photos from our class pumpkin project. The students measured their pumpkins, weighed them, named them, and counted the creases. They learned about estimation and the different between estimation and guesses. We even learned about the ever-constant relationship between diameter and circumference, and we cemented our new-found understanding of pi with a "Pumpkin Pi" party!
