Would you like to play a game where you run, play, and exercise, all at the same time? Students should be allowed to play dodgeball at their school. First of all, dodgeball is great exercise, dodgeball incorporates a lot of different sports into one, and dodgeball is just plain fun!
One reason why I think people should play dodgeball is because it is great exercise. When you play dodgeball, you are constantly running around and this is exercise for your heart. You also bend and stretch when you play dodgeball. Throwing a ball is even exercise for your biceps. It's exercising, and you don't even notice it!
Another reason why people should be allowed to play dodgeball is because you are really learning to play a lot of different sports at once when you play dodgeball. For example, if a kid loves to play soccer or baseball, both of those skills are used in dodgeball. When you play dodgeball, you try to catch balls, which is the goalie's job. In soccer you have to be very fast, and it is useful for dodgeball too. Playing dodgeball, you learn to fake people out like in football. Throwing the dodgeball is good practice for baseball. Can you believe you can practice all these sports with one activity?
My final reason is that dodgeball is ... FUN! When playing dodgeball, you can hide and run. This is like playing tag, another favorite activity for kids. Dodgeball is also fun because you can hide behind people, which is a good strategy. You'll like dodgeball because you can be so competitive too, but in a fun way. Dodgeball even gives you ninja reflexes.
So, now that I've told you my reasons, don't you agree that dodgeball is a great game for students to play in school? Grab a ball and come join us!
